Therapy on the weekend is a good opportunity for individuals to recap their week and process things that may have happened or emotions that came up. Weekend therapy is also a good way to frame weekends as a time for self-care, which is a great mindfulness model to follow. Weekends are also typically less busy for most people, allowing you to not only invest in therapy but also create space for self-reflection. Use this time to consider what you want to bring to therapy and what you learned from your session.
I offer therapy on the weekend for those who do not have availability on weekdays, usually due to extensive travel or unusual work hours. Although there are limited weekend appointments, I want to work with you in finding a time that is best for your schedule.
